On 13th May 2025, we gathered with gratitude for the incredible journey of Sr. Pratima Jojo, SSpS, Sr. Deepika Lakra, SSpS, Sir. Sushil Sutradhar & Ms. Sabita Jamatia at Notre Dame Holy Cross High School, Moharpara. The farewell ceremony started with lighting of the Lamp and a welcome note by Mr. Martin Kaipeng, Head Teacher. He expressed his gratitude and welcomed all the Fathers, Sisters, Br. Subrai Jamatia, Teachers and Students to witness the beautiful farewell program. We had special guests Fr. Alex Arockiasamy CSC, Director of Holy Cross Family Ministry, Tamil Nadu Province and Fr. Kanikkai Jayaraj CSC, Principal of Holy Cross School Panisagar, whose presence added more weightage to the program. Fr. Sahaya Lourdu Raj CSC, the Principal, addressed the gathering and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Pratima Jojo SSpS, Sr. Deepika Lakra SSpS, Mr. Sushil Sutradhar and Mrs. Sabita Jamatia for all their hard work, dedication and meticulous steps to mould the students during their tenure in the school. They had been more than just an educator; they had been a mentor, a guide, and an inspiration to each of us. He appreciated them for their commitment, patience, loyalty and wished them success in their future endeavours. Sr. Pratima Jojo SSpS, delivered an emotional speech, reflecting on her tenure at the school as headmistress and the cherished memories she had created with the students and staff. She expressed her pride in the school's achievements and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence. She advised the students to work hard and achieve greater things in life. Mr. Sushil Sutradhar shared anecdotes from his teaching career, highlighting the bonds formed with students and the joy of witnessing their growth. He thanked the school community for their support. He lastly expressed his gratitude to all the principals for supporting him throughout his Tenure. Sr. Deepika Lakra SSpS, shared her experiences with the principal, staff and students recollecting all the wonderful time spent during her tenure in the school. She thanked each and every one for their support and partnership in moulding the student together for their better future. Cultural event and gifts that we gave would not suffuse our gratitude, yet the whole event that took place and all we did was our little token of appreciation and wishes for all they had been to us. Principal welcomed those staffs who had recently joined us and assured them of our support. Also, we felicitated our special guests Fr. Alex Arockiasamy CSC and Fr. Kanikkai Jayaraj CSC, who spoke few words of encouragement to our students. The program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Miss Asha Hrangkhawl. Dear Sr. Pratima Jojo, SSpS, Sr. Deepika Lakra, SSPS, Sir. Sushil Sutradhar & Ms. Sabita Jamatia, may your future be as bright and inspiring as the countless lives you have touched.
